100% Organic French Terry Cotton
The quality of French terry begins with the fiber. Original Favorites uses 100% certified organic cotton, selected for its softness, durability, and natural breathability. The French terry knit has a smooth, velvety surface on the outside and looped yarns on the inside. Unlike brushed fleece, the interior is left unbrushed, preserving the texture and airflow that give French terry its distinctive comfort.That balance makes the fabric especially versatile. It has the plushness and drape expected from a luxury sweat, but remains breathable enough for a three-season layer. The organic cotton also provides a clean, substantial foundation for custom color, embroidery, screen printing, and private labeling.

Ultra Heavyweight Structure
At 500gsm, this French terry is built with considerably more substance than a standard sweatshirt. The weight gives the fabric a fuller hand, a more defined drape, and the kind of structure that makes a simple crewneck or hoodie feel elevated. It does not rely on a brushed interior for softness; its character comes from the density of the cotton and the comfort of the looped terry construction. The heavier fabric also supports the details that matter in a premium garment. Reverse flatlock stitching helps reduce bulk while improving durability, and the substantial knit gives custom decoration a more refined surface. Pre-shrinking helps limit natural shrinkage, while the weight of the finished garment reinforces the sense of permanence. This is French terry with presence: soft, breathable, and substantial enough to become the foundation of a considered custom collection.
